Since 1955, the San Diego Rescue Mission has been serving thousands of men, women and famlies experiencing homelessness, hunger, addiction and abuse in San Diego.

Our services range from street outreach, mobile showers, and hot meals to emergency shelter and long-term rehabilitation programs.  Through meeting people’s essential needs for shelter, meals and hygiene, we get people off the streets immediately.

In our residential program, people are empowered to rebuild their lives. They get off the streets permanently through trauma-informed recovery programs, education, job training and housing support for a new life of wellness, economic recovery and self-sufficiency.
